Informace o albu
A recital of 13 Jewish ceremonial chants, including both Sephardic and Ashkenazi songs, featuring the outstanding Jewish singer, native of Kiev, Kateryna Kolcova (among other triumphs, the sensation of a recent stage production of texts by Gertrude Stein, The Tender Buttons, at Prague's Theatre Archa), in an exclusively Hebrew-language repertoire, making her debut on a major record label. The atmosphere of cultural crossover is still enhanced by the involvement in the project of the album's two instrumental players: Serb guitarist Borisav Prelić, and Hungarian viola player Ágnes Kutas. A big voice from Prague.
